Yes, that is what we need now. Lots of it. This is as general I will be in this blog where I normally try to stay with surgical precision in the area of mobile media. But sometimes you need a quick reality of the world around you.

Just read this great post (unfortunatly in Swedish only) from my friends at Distruptive. In short. There is alot of great energy and will to create new things around despite the general doom and gloom. The entrerpeneur Ted Valentin in Sweden arranged a 24 hour business camp (site in English well worth a visit!) where 52 teams were creating a new web based business and launch it. All within 24 hours. 51 made it, not all are great, but the key is to focus on the process.

The 24hour business camp channeled a lot of positive energy. The road to sucess is littered with failures and action is the only way to success. These 52 teams gave it all for 24 hours and I am sure all of them are pretty satisfied with even staying awake for 24 hours and atually creating new businesses at the same time. Imagine running these competitions more regularly. We would reach more than the tip of the iceberg that this competiton was. I am sure this is one way to get out of the crisis faster.
